PTU: Spring Garden


This tutorial was written by me on March 29, 2013 and are the result of my own imagination. Any resemblance to another tutorial is purely coincidental.

This tutorial was written assuming you have working knowledge of  PSP.

Supplies needed

I am using PSP X4 but this tutorial should work with any version.

PTU Tube:  I am using the fantastic artwork of Michi Art.   Please do not use this artwork without a  proper license.  You can purchase this Awesome tube at CDO here

PTU scrap kit:  I am using ScrapBCS Michi Package 13 by BabyCakes Scraps.  Thank you for creating this gorgeous kit.  You can purchase this kit and matching tube pack at CDO here

Mask:  DBV mask 80.  You can download it at Vaybs blog here.

This tutorial was written using the supplies above.  If you are using a different tube or scrap kit you may need to make adjustments.  I am using a drop shadow of V/H 2 Opacity 50, blur 5, color black through out the tutorial unless otherwise state.

Open a new 600x600 transparent image.

Open element 13, copy and close the original.  Paste as a new layer and resize 90%.  Using your magic wand, click inside the frame.  Selections modify, expand by 5.  Open paper of choice.  I am using paper 8.  Add a new raster layer and paste into selections.  Select none.  Move this layer under the frame and drop shadow the frame.

Copy your tube and paste as a new layer.  Resize 80% and drop shadow.

Open element 35, copy and close the original.  Paste as a new layer and resize 80%, flip and move to the bottom center.  Drop shadow.

Open element 6, copy and close the original.  Select raster 1 and paste as a new layer.  Resize 80% and again by 90%, move to the far left, duplicate and mirror.  Merge down and drop shadow with the following:  V/H 1, opacity 100, blur 1 color #af5585.  Repeat but change the V/H to -1.

Open element 16, copy and close the original.  Select the frame layer and paste as a new layer.  Resize 50% and move to the bottom left side of the tube.  See mine for placement.  Duplicate and mirror.  Drop shadow.

Open element 18, copy and close the original.  Paste as a new layer and move down.  The bottom of the ribbon should be over the right rose.  Drop shadow.

Open element 34 and 36, copy and close the original.  Select the top layer and paste as a new layer, resize 50% and move it so it looks like it is sitting on the left rose. Drop shadow.  Repeat for element 36 but have it sitting on the right rose.  See mine for placement.

Open element 9, copy and close the original.  Select the frame layer and paste as a new layer.  resize 50% and move to the left side.  Duplicate and mirror.  See mine for placement.  Drop shadow.

Open element 19, copy and close the original.  Select the bottom white flower and paste as a new layer and move slightly to the right.  Drop shadow.

Open paper of choice.  I am using paper 6, copy and close the original.  Select raster 1 and paste as a new layer.  Apply your mask and merge group.  Resize 110% all layers not checked.

Add your copyright and name.  Save as png.

PTU: Bubbles and Butterflies

Mask:  WSL mask 116.  You can download it at Weescotslass creations here.

This tutorial was written using the supplies above.  If you are using a different tube or scrap kit you may need to make adjustments.  I am using a drop shadow of V/H 2 Opacity 50, blur 5, color black through out the tutorial unless otherwise state.

Open a new 600x600 transparent image.

Open element 7, copy and close the original.  Paste as a new layer and resize 80%.  Using your magic wand, click inside the frame.  Selections, modify, expand by 5.  Open paper of choice.  I am using paper 6, paste as a new layer, Selections, invert and hit delete on your keyboard.  Select none and move this layer under your frame. 

Drop shadow the frame.

Copy your tube, paste as a new layer and resize 70%.  Drop shadow.

Open element 12, copy and paste as a new layer.  Move this layer just above raster 1, move to the top left corner.  Duplicate, flip and mirror.  Using your eraster tool, erase the stem that is showing on the top left corner.

Open element 30, copy and paste as a new layer.  Resize 70% and Flip.  Move this to the top right corner then move the layer under the rose layers.  Duplicate, mirror and flip.

Open element 28, copy and close the original. Paste as a new layer and resize 60%.  Move this to the bottom center in front of the tube.  Drop shadow.  See mine for placement.

Open element 19, copy and close the original.  Paste as a new layer and resize 30%.  Move this to the top left corner of the wicked sign.  Drop shadow.  Duplicate and mirror.  Move this to the lower right corner of the wicked sign.

Open element 29, copy and close the original.  Select your frame layer and paste as a new layer.
Open element 35, copy and close the original.  Select your tube layer and paste as a new layer.  Resize 70% and move down to the bottom and slightly to the left of the wicked sign.
  Duplicate and mirror.

Open element 26, copy and clsoe the original.  Select your frame layer and paste as a new layer.  Resize 70%.  Duplicate and mirror.

Select raster 1, open paper of choice.  I am using paper 10, copy and close the original.  Paste as a new layer and apply WSL mask 116.  Merge group.

Add your name and copyright.  Save as png.

PTU: Purple Fairy

Open a new 600x600 transparent image.

Open element 16, copy and close the original.  Paste as a new layer and resize 80%.  Using your magic wand, click inside the frame.  Selections, modify, expand by 5, Open paper of choice.  I am using paper 5, copy and paste as a new layer, selections, invert and hit delete on your keyboard.  Select none.  Move the paper under your frame and drop shadow the frame.

Open and copy tube of choice.  I am using the tube with the wings.  Paste as a new layer and drop shadow.

Open element 24, copy and close the original.  Paste as a new layer and move to the bottom left of your tube.  Duplicate and mirror.  Merge down and dropshadow.  Move this layer under your tube.

Open element 8B, copy and close the original.  Paste as a new layer and move this layer under your flowers.

Open element 14, copy and close the original.  Paste as a new layer and resize 80%.  Move this layer above your tube and move to the bottom.  Drop shadow.

Open element 7, copy and paste as a new layer.  Resize 60%.  Move this to the bottom left of your ribbon.  Duplicate and mirror.  Move this under your ribbon layer.  Duplicate the original rose and move up to the banner.  Move this layer just above the banner.  It should be sitting just beside the fold of the banner.  Duplicate and mirror.  See mine for placement.

Open element 29, copy and close the original.  Select your frame layer and paste as a new layer.  Move this to the top left of the banner.  See mine for placement.  Duplicate, flip and mirror.  Move this one up just a bit.  See mine for placement.

Add your name and copyright.  Save as png and your done.

PTU: In the words

Mask:  None

Plug ins:  Greg's factory output, pool shadow. (optional)

This tutorial was written using the supplies above.  If you are using a different tube or scrap kit you may need to make adjustments.  I am using a drop shadow of V/H 2 Opacity 50, blur 5, color black through out the tutorial unless otherwise state.

Open a new 600x250 transparent image.

Open paper 3, copy and paste as a new layer.

Open word art.  Copy and close the original.  Paste as a new layer.  Select all, float, defloat, open your close up tube and move her face in the middle of the wordart.  Once happy with placement, selections invert and hit delete on your keyboard.  Select none.  Change the blend mode to luminance legacy and lower the opacity to 60%.  Merge down and resize 80%.

Open your main tube.  Copy and paste as a new layer.  Image resize 80% and move to the left side of the tag.  Drop shadow.

Open element 2, copy and close the original.  Paste as a new layer and move to the left side of the banner.  Move this under your tube layer.  Duplicate and mirror.

Open element 16, copy and close the original.  Select the wordart layer and paste.  Move to the bottom left side.  Duplicate and mirror.  See mine for placement.

Open element 17, copy and paste as a new layer.  Movet his layer close to the bottom and move this layer just above the word art layer.  Drop shadow.

Open element 4, copy and close the original.  Paste as a new layer and resize 60%.  Move to the right side.  The top of the book should almost line up with the edge of the word art.  Drop shadow.  See mine for placement.

Open element 7, copy and close the original.  Select your tube layer and paste as a new layer.  Move to the bottom right corner.  Drop shadow.  See mine for placement.

Open element 3, copy and  close the original.  Paste as a new layer and resize 60%.  Move to the bottom right side just in front of the left side of the globe.  Drop shadow.  See mine for placement.

Select your top layer and add a new raster layer,  flood fill with color of choice.  I am using #131e20.  Select all, selections, modify, contract by 5 and hit delete on your keyboard.  Selections invert, effects, Greg's factory output, pool shadow, default settings.  Adjust, add remove noise, add noise, Gaussian 50% monochrome checked.  Drop shadow.  repeat drop shadow but change th e V/H to -2.  Move your tube layer above the border.

Duplicate and minimize for now.

Add your copyright and name.  Save as png and close.

Avatar

Maximize the duplicate and delete the border layer. Merge visible.  Select your crop tool and change the width and height to 150.  Move the crop box until you find a spot you like.  Hit enter or click the green check mark.  Repeat the steps for the border but change the contract to 3.  Add your copyright and name.  Save as png.

PTU: Sweet Angel

This tutorial was written using the supplies above.  If you are using a different tube or scrap kit you may need to make adjustments.  I am using a drop shadow of V/H 2 Opacity 50, blur 5, color black through out the tutorial unless otherwise state.

Open a new 850x310 transparent image.

Open paper of choice.  I am using paper 3, copy and close the original.  Add a new raster layer, select all, edit, paste into selections, select none. 

Open your close up tube and paste as a new layer.  Mirror and move to the right side of your timeline.  Drop shadow.

Select the paper layer.  Open unicorn and paste as a new layer.  Move this just behind your tube.  Drop shadow.  See mine for placement.

Open Sparkles, select the paper layer. copy and paste as a new layer.  Move to the far left, duplicate and mirror.

Open flowers, select the unicorn layer and paste as a new layer.  Move to the bottom left corner.  Drop shadow.   Duplicate and mirror.  Merge down.  See mine for placement.

Open leaves, Select the flowers layer, paste as a new layer and move in between the unicorn and tube.  Drop Shadow.  Duplicate and mirror move to the far left corner and move this layer under the flowers layer.

Open moon, select your paper layer.  Copy and paste as a new layer and resize 60%.  Move this to the upper left corner.  See mine for placement.

Open word art.  Copy and paste as a new layer.  Move to the upper left corner and move this layer under the unicorn layer.  See mine for placement.

Merge visable and duplicate the timline, hold down the Shift + D. 

Minimize the copy as we will use these for the avitar.

Select the top layer and add a new raster layer.  Flood fill it with color or gradient of choice.  I am using an off white.  Select all, selections, modify, contract by 6 and hit delete on your keyboard.  Select none.  Adjust, add/removed noise, add noise Gaussian 100%, monochrome checked.  Add a drop shadow of V/H 1, opacity 100, blur 1, color #703a73.  Repeat but change the V/H to -1.

Duplicate, shift + D and minimize for now.

Add your copyright but leave off the url as it is not permitted on fb and name.  Save as png.

Maximize the duplicate without the frame.

FB Avatar


Select your crop tool and set the height and width to 170.  Move the box until you find a spot you like.  Once happy with selection, hit delete on your keyboard.  Repeat the steps for the border but change the contract to 4.

Add your copyright and initial and save as png.

Banner

Maximize the timeline you duplicated earlier.  Image resize by pixels and change the width to 650 the height will adjust automatically.  Click ok.  Dulicate this as we will need it for the Avatar.  Add your copyright and name and save as png. 

Avatar

Maximize the final duplicate.

Select your crop tool.  Change the width and height to 150.  Move the crop box to a spot you like.  Once happy with selection, hit enter on your keyboard.  Repeat the steps for the border but change the contract to 3.  Add your name and copyright. Save as png.

PTU: Shadow Circus

Open a new 600x600 transparent image.

Open element 2, copy and close the original.  Paste as a new layer and resize 50%.  Duplicate this layer and hide it for now.  Back to your original frame.  Click inside the frame using your magic wand.  Selections, modify, expand by 5.  Select raster 1 and add a new layer.  Open element 20, copy and close the original.  Standing on your new raster layer, edit, paste into selections, select none.  Drop shadow your frame and merge down.  Hide this layer for now.

Unhide your duplicate frame.  Click inside your frame using your magic wand.  Selections, modify, expand by 5.  Add a new raster layer.  Open paper of choice.  I am uisng paper 1, copy and close the original.  Edit, paste into selections.  Add a new raster layer again.  Copy one of your tubes with the frame I am using #2.  Back to your tag.  Edit, paste into selections.  Select none.  Drop shadow the tube and frame.  Drag your frame layer above the tube and paper layer.  Merge down these 3 layers.  Image resize, 70%.  Image free rotate to the left 25 degrees.

Unhide your original frame.  Move the duplicate to the lower left.  See mine for placement.

Open element 14, copy and close the original.  Select your main frame and paste as a new layer.  Move this to the bottom of your frame.  See mine for placement.  Duplicate and move the duplicate layer above the second frame.  Using your eraser tool, carefully erase the 2 top leaves.

Open element 11, copy and close the original. Select raster 1 and paste as a new layer.  Move this slightly down so you see the bottom set under your frames.

Open element 18, copy and close the original.  Paste as a new layer and resize 70%  Move this to the left side of your main frame.  Move this layer under your ivy layer.  Drop shadow.  Duplicate and mirror.  Resize 90% and move to the right side of the main frame.  See mine for placement.  Move this layer above your frame layer.

Open your tube and copy the imp.  Paste as a new layer and resize 60%.  Move him to the right of the frame so he is looks like he is standing on the stairs and holding the lamp.  Move this layer above the lamp layer.  Drop shadow.

Open your tube and copy girl of choice.  I am using layer 3. Select the top layer and paste.  Image resize 90% and move to the left of your tag.  I hve her standing on the ivy leaf.  Drop shadow.  See mine for placement.

Open element 19, copy and close the original.  Paste as a new layer and move to the bottom left Move this layer under the stair layer.  See mine for placement.  Duplicate and mirror.  Move this to the top right corner of the stairs.  See mine for placement.

Select the bottom ivy layer and duplicate.  Move this slightly to the right.  Move this layer just above the Imp layer.  Using your eraser tool, carfully erase the top ivy leaf.  Duplicate again and move this layer to the top of your main frame.  Move this layer under the frame layer.  Move slightly to the left.  Duplicate and flip.  Move slightly to the right.

Open element 9, copy and close the original.  Select your top ivy layer and paste as a new layer.  Image, resize 60% and drop shadow.  Move to the lower middle.  See mine for placement.

Open element 15, copy and close the original.  Select the left lamp layer and paste as a new layer.  Resize 60% and move to the right so it is in between the ivys.  See mine for placement.  Drop shadow.

Open element 16, copy and close the original.  Select raster 1 and paste as a new layer. 

Hide raster 1 and merge visable.  Resize 90% all layers not checked. 

Unhide raster 1, open paper of choice.  I am using paper 2, copy and close the original.  Paste as a new layer and apply WSL_mask 119 and merge group.  Image resize 115% all layers not checked.

Add your copyright and name.  Save as png and your done.  I hope you

PTU: Easter Bunny 2013

Mask:  WSL Mask 116 and mask 81.  You can get this at Weescotslass Creations here.  Thank you for creating the great masks.  Save to your mask file.

This tutorial was written using the supplies above.  If you are using a different tube or scrap kit you may need to make adjustments.  I am using a drop shadow of V/H 2 Opacity 50, blur 5, color black through out the tutorial unless otherwise state.

Open a new 600x600 transparent image.

Flood fill with a nice blue.  I am using #a6d6d5.  Effects, Mura Meister cloud with these settings.  


Layers, load/save mask, load mask from disk and find WSL mask 116.  Load mask but to not merge group yet.  Open element 19, copy and paste as new layer,  Resize 60% and move close to the bottom.  Drop shadow.  Move this layer above raster 1, under the mask.  Open element 18, copy and paste as a new layer.  Resize 80% and move to the right side.  Move this layer under your fence layer.  Merge group.

Copy your tube and paste as a new layer.  Drop shadow.

Open element 17, copy and close the original.  Paste as a new layer and resize 30%.  Move this to the left side of the fence,  Duplicate and mirror.  Duplicate the mirrored one and move over to the right a bit.  Duplicate this one and mirror.

Open element 12, copy and paste as a new layer.  Resize 25% and move to the bottom left in front of the grass.  Drop shadow.  Duplicate and mirror.

Open element 20, copy and paste as a new layer.  Resize 25% and drop shadow.  Move to the bottom left beside the egg.  Move this layer under the egg layer.  See mine for placement.

Open element 21, copy and paste as a new layer.  Resize 25% and move to the bottom right in front of the egg.  Drop shadow.  Duplicate and mirror.

Open element 9, copy and paste as a new layer.  resize 25% and move to the upper left side of the tag.  See mine for placement.

Merge visable.

Open a new 600x600 transparent image. 

Open frame 1, copy and paste as a new layer.  Resize 80%. Using your magic wand, click inside your frame.  Selections, modify, expand by 5.  Add a new raster layer and flood fill with the blue you used earlier.  Apply Mura Meister Cloud with the same settings.  Keep selected.  Add a new raster layer.  Back to your original tag.  Copy and close the original.  We will not need it.  Back to your new image.  With your new layer selected, edit, paste into selection.  Select none.  Drop shadow the frame.  Merge down the frame, tag and blue background.  Resize 80%.

Open element 13, copy and paste as a new layer.  Image, flip, resize 90% and move the bow to the top middle of the frame.  Drop shadow.

Open element 3, copy and paste as a new layer.  Move this layer under your frame and move to the far right. Drop Shadow.   See mine for placement.  Duplicate, flip, merge down, duplicate and mirror.

Open Word art 2, copy and close the original.  Paste as a new layer and resize 80%.  Drop shadow.  Move this to the bottom of your frame.  See mine for placement.

Open your tube, copy and paste as a new layer.  Mirror and drop shadow.  Move to the left side of your frame.  Her leg should be between the E and A of the word art.  Move this layer above the word art if it is not already.

Open element 21, copy and paste as a new layer.  Resize 40%, Mirror and drop shadow.  Move this in front of your tubes foot.  See mine for placement.

Open element 12, copy and paste as a new layer.  Resize 40% and drop shadow.  Move this under your word art layer and behind the E.  See mine for placement.

Open element 21 again, paste as a new layer and resize 70%.  Move this under your word art layer.  It should be placed behind the R.  See mine for placement.

Select raster 1, copy and paste paper of choice.  I am using paper 6.  Layers, load/save mask, load mask from disk and find WSL mask 81.  Apply your mask and merge group.  Move your mask to the upper left corner.  Duplicate and mirror.  Merge down.  Duplicate and flip.

Add your copyright and name.  Save as png and were done.

PTU Pretty as a rose

This tutorial was written using the supplies above.  If you are using a different tube or scrap kit you may need to make adjustments.  I am using a drop shadow of V/H 2 Opacity 50, blur 5, color black through out the tutorial unless otherwise state.

We will be making a time line set, banner and avatar set.

Time line set

Open a new 850x320 transparent image.

Select all and add a new raster layer.

Open paper of choice.  I am using paper 4, copy and paste into selection, select none.

Effects, Texture effects, Mosaic Glass with the following settings:

Columns and rows both set at 100, symmetric checked, glass curvature 1, edge curvature 0, grout width 10, grout diffusion 10.  click ok.

Copy tube of choice.  I am using the one with wings.  Paste as a new layer, image mirror and move to the right side of the banner.  Drop shadow.

Open element 27, copy and close the original.  Select your paper layer and paste as a new layer, image flip.

Open element 21, copy and close the original.  Paste as a new layer and move to the bottom right corner behind your tube.  See mine for placement.  Duplicate and move it forward just a bit.

Open element 23, copy and close the original.  Paste as a new layer and resize 80%  Move to the center and drop shadow.  See mine for placement.  Move this layer under the roses.

Open element 11, copy and close the original.  Paste as a new layer and resize 40% and drop shadow.  Move to the bottom left corner.

Open element 10, copy and close the original.  Paste as a new layer and resize 60%.  Move this to the left side and move this layer under the other mushrooms.  Drop shadow.

Open element 31, copy and close the original.  Paste as a new layer and resize 40%  Image mirror and move to the left side just above the mushrooms.  See mine for placement.

Add any other elements you like.

Add a new raster layer and bring this to the top.  Select all and flood fill with color of choice.  I am using #b2392d.  Selections, modify, contrat by 6 and hit delete select none.  Adjust, add remove/noise, add noise, Gaussian, 100%, monochrome checked.  Drop shadow and repeat drop shadow but change the V/H to -2.

Duplicate your time line by holding down shift + D and repeat.  You should now have 3.  Minimize 2 of them for now.  Back to the time line.  Remember to not place anything on the lower left as this is where the avatar sits.  Add the copyright (remember to leave off the url as Facebook does not allow this).  Add your name and save as png and close as we are done with this.

Maximize one of the duplicate timelines.  Select your crop tool and change the width and height to 180.  Move the crop box to a spot you like then hit enter or click the green check mark.  Repeat the steps for the border above but change the contract to 4.  Add your copyright and save as png.

Banner

Maximize the third duplicate.  Image resize 650 pixals the height will adjust it self.  All layers checked.  Duplicate this one and minimize.  Add your copyright and name as as png.

Avatar

Maximize the duplicate banner.  Select your crop tool and set the height and width to 150.  Move the crop box to a spot you like and hit enter.  Repeat the steps for the border using the TL Avatar. 

Add your copyright and name.  Save as png.

PTU: Blue Flower

This tutorial was written assuming you have working knowledge of PSP.

Supplies needed

I am using PSP X4 but this tutorial should work with any version.

I am going to do something a little different lol.  I am starting with the mask first.

Open a new 600x600 transparent image.

Copy paper of choice.  I am using paper 5, paste as a new layer.  Layers, load/save mask, load mask from disk and find WSL mask 79.  Apply your mask and merge group.

Open the middle sized tube and paste as a new layer and drop shadow.  Resize 90%.

Select your mask layer.  Open element 17, copy and close the original.  paste as a new layer, Image mirror and move to the right side of the tube.  See mine for placement.  Drop shadow.  Duplicate and mirror.

Open element 14, copy and close the original.  Select your tube layer and paste as a new layer.  Move this to to the bottom of the tube.  Drop shadow.

Open element 10, copy and close the original.  Select your mask layer and paste as a new layer.  Image resize 80%.

Select your top layer and paste as a new layer.  Resize 40%.  Move this bottom left corner.  Drop shadow.  See mine for placement.

Open element 15, copy and paste as a new layer.  resize 40% and move to the bottom right corner.  Drop shadow.  See mine for placement.

Open element 19, copy and close the original.  Paste as a new layer and resize 40%.  Move to the bottom right.  Move this layer under the  metal doodle.  Duplicate and move this layer above the doodle. 

Select your eraser tool, standing on the duplicate, erase the ribbon where the top point of the doodle is.  Back to the original ribbon flower.  Drop shadow.  See mine for placement.

Add any other elements you like.  Once happy with your tag, add your copyright and name.  Save as png and were are done.

Open a new 600x600 transparent image.

Open frame 5, copy and paste as a new layer.  Resize 80%.  Using your magic wand, click inside the frame.   Selections, modify, expand by 5.  Open paper of choice,  I am using paper 9, copy and paste as a new layer.  Selections, invert and hit delete on your keyboard.  Keep selected.

Open your close up tube, copy and paste as a new layer.  Resize 80% and move to a spot you like.  Using your eraser tool, erase the bottom of your tube.  Select none.  Drop shadow your tube and frame.

 Move the paper layer under your frame.

Open element 28, copy and close the original.  Select raster 1 and paste as a new layer.  Using your deform tool, tilt it to the left and move to the upper left corner.  See mine for placement.

Open element 13, copy and close the original.  Select the top layer and paste as a new layer.  Resize 70% and mirror.  Move to the left side of the frame and drop shadow.  See mine for placement.

Open element 6, copy and close the original.  Select your top layer and paste as a new layer.  Move to the bottom middle of the frame and drop shadow.

Open element 19, copy and close the original.  Select your leaf  layer and paste as a new layer.  Resize 50% and move to the bottom in front of the leaf.  See mine for placement.

Open element 31, copy and close the original.  Select raster 1 and paste as a new layer.  Move this to the right side of the paper.  See mine for placement.

Open element 20, copy and close the original.  Paste as a new layer and resize 70%.  Move to the lower right corner and drop shadow.  See mine for placement.

Open element 21, copy and close the original.  Paste as a new layer and resize 60%.  Move this over to the left of the other flower and drop shadow.  See mine for placement.

Move your bow layer above the 2 flower layers.

Open element 32, copy and close the original.  Paste as a new layer and move to the right side of the tiger.  See mine for placement. 

Drop shadow.  Duplicate and Image free rotate to the right by 15 degrees.

Open word art 1, copy and close the original.  Select your top layer and paste as a new layer.  Move to the bottom of your tag.  See mine for placement.

Select raster 1, open paper of choice, I am using paper 5, copy and paste as a new layer.  Layers, load/save mask, load mask from disk and apply WSL mask 220.  Merge group.

Add your copyright and name.  save as png and your done.

Plug ins: AAA Frames, foto frame

This tutorial was written using the supplies above.  If you are using a different tube or scrap kit you may need to make adjustments.  I am using a drop shadow of V/H 2 Opacity 50, blur 5, color black through out the tutorial unless otherwise state.

Open a new 600x250 transparent image.

Copy and paste paper of choice.  I am using paper 2, copy and paste as a new layer. 

Add a new raster layer and select all.  Open element 1, copy and close the original.  Edit, paste into selection.  Select none and drop shadow.

Open your main tube and paste as a new layer.  Move into the right frame of the window.  Duplicate and mirror.  On the duplicate, change your blend mode to hard light.  Back to the original tube.  Drop shadow.

Open Element 18, copy and close the original.  Select your window layer and paste as a new layer.  Resize 40% and move to the left bottom corner.  Drop shadow.

Open element 10, copy and close the original.  Paste as a new layer and resize 60%.  Move to the right bottom corner. (see mine for placement). Drop shadow. Duplicate and mirror.  Move the duplicate up a little.

Open element 2, copy and close the original.  Paste as a new layer and resize 40% and move to the lower right corner.  See mine for placement.  Drop shadow.

Open element 9, copy and close the original.  Paste as a new layer, resize 25% and move to the bottom right corner. Drop Shadow.  Duplicate and move the duplicate slightly to the left and down a bit.  See mine for placement.

Open word art, copy and close the original.  Paste as a new layer and resize 40%.  Move to the bottom center of your banner and drop shadow.

Open element 23, copy and close the original.  Paste as a new layer and resize 40%.  Move this under your word art and drop shadow.

Add any other elements you like.  Once happy with your banner, merge visible.

Effect, AAA Frames, foto frame and change the drop down from default to white.  change the width to 5 and click ok.  Using your magic wand, click inside the white part of the frame.  Adjust, add/remove noise, add noise, Gaussian, 100%, monochrome checked.

 Shift + D to duplicate it.  Add your name and copyright on the duplicate.   Save your duplicate as png and your done with the banner.  

Avatar

Back to the original.  Hit ctrl + Z x4 to remove the border. 

Select your crop tool and change your height and width to 150.  Move the crop box until you find a spot you like.  Hit enter on your keyboard.  Apply the AAA Foto Frame with the same settings as for the banner.  Repeat the steps for the noise.  Add your copyright and initial or name.  Save as png and your done.

Element 14, copy and close the original.  Paste as a new layer and drop shadow.

Open element 1, copy and close the original.  Paste as a new layer, Image, mirror and change your blend mode to Hard light and lower the opacity to 60.

Open your close up tube, copy and paste as a new layer.  Resize 90% and drop shadow.

Open element 8, copy and close the original.  Paste as a new layer.  Resize 80% and move to the lower left corner.  Duplicate and mirror.

Open element 9, copy and close the original.  Paste as a new layer and resize 70% and move to the bottom.  Drop shadow.

Open element 12, copy and close the original.  Paste as a new layer and resize 70%.  Move to the bottom middle and drop shadow.

Open element 6, copy and close the original.  Select the cat layer and paste as a new layer.  Resize 70% and move to the top of the book.

Open element 10, copy and close the original.  Paste as a new layer and move to the bottom just below the top of the ivy.  See mine for placement.

Open element 13, copy and close the original.  Select raster 1 and paste as a new layer.  Image, flip and move to the top left corner.  Duplicate and mirror.  See mine for placement.

Open element 11, copy and close the original.  Paste as a new layer and move between the 2 doodles and peaking out from above the book.  See mine for placement.

Open element 20, copy and close the original.  Select your top layer and paste as a new layer.  Resize 40%, Image, free rotate to the left 25 degrees all layers not checked.  Move to the top left corner and drop shadow.

Open element 21, copy and close the original.  Select the layer under your tube and paste as a new layer.  I used my deform tool to tilt it slightly to the left.  Image resize 60% and move just above the ivy.

Open element 30, copy and close the original.  Select your top layer and paste as a new layer.  Move to the bottom right corner and drop shadow.  See mine for placement.

Open element 11 again, copy and close the original.  Select your pillow layer and paste as a new layer.  Image resize 40% and drop shadow.  Move this to the top of your pillow.  Duplicate and mirror.   Move this to the lower right in behind the K.  See mine for placement.

Add your copyright and name.

Open a new 600x250 transparent image.

Open paper of choice.  I am using paper 5, copy and close the original.  Paste as a new layer.  Adjust, add/remove noise, add noise, gaussian 50% monochrome checked.  Blur, Motion Blur, angle 127, strength 100%.

Copy your tube and paste as a new layer.  Move to the center of the banner.  Drop shadow.

Open element 20, copy and close the original.  Select your paper layer and paste as a new layer.  Resize 70%.

Open element 10, copy and close the original.  Paste as a new layer and resize 40%.  Move to the right side of your tag.  Duplicate and mirror.

Open element 8, copy and close the original.  Select your paper layer and paste as a new layer.  Move to the right side.  See mine for placement.  Duplicate and mirror.

Open element 25, copy and close the original  Paste as a new layer and resize 50% and drop shadow.  Move to the bottom left corner.  Duplicate and mirror.

Open element 7, copy and close the original.  Paste as a new layer and resize 50%  Move this in the middle of the banner.  Move this layer just above the curtains.  Drop shadow.

Open element 4, copy and close the original.  Paste as a new layer and move this down beside the broach and behind your tube.  Duplicate and mirror.  See mine for placement.

Select your top layer and add a new raster layer.  Select all, Image, crop to selections.

Select all, flood fill with color of choice.  I am using #eef2e5.  Selections, modify, contract by 5 and hit delete on your keyboard.  Select none.  Adjust, add/remove noise, add noise. Gaussian 75% monochrome checked.  Drop shadow and repeat but change V/H to -2.

Shift + D to duplicate the banner and minimize for now as we will use this for the Avatar.

Add your name and copyright.  Save as png and your done the banner.

Avatar

Maximize the banner we duplicated earlier.  Delete the frame layer and merge visible.  Resize 80% all layers checked.  Select your crop tool and crop to 150x150.  Click OK or hit enter.  Repeat the steps for the frame layer but contract by 3.  Add your copyright and initial or name and save as png.
