PTU: Flash is Mandatory

This tutorial was written by me on June 12, 2016. The results are of my own imagination.  Any resemblance to another tutorial is purely coincidental.

Please DO NOT claim this tutorial as your own.

This was written assuming you have working knowledge of PSP.

Please keep in mind that I write the tutorial as I am creating it.

Sometimes I may not explain properly where to place things so please see my example if you are ever in doubt :)

Supplies needed

I am using PSP X8 but this tutorial should work with any version.

PTU Tube:  I am using a gorgeous tube created by Elias Chatzoudis called "Are you talking to Me".  Please do not use this tubes without a proper licence.  You can purchase this tube at Elias's store here.  He is also selling at CDO here.

PTU Kit:  I am using a gorgeous kit called "Hieeee" created by Abstract Creations.
This kit has 50 elements and 10 papers.  You can purchase this at Abstract's Store here.

Mask: Vix Big Mask 1.  You can download it from Vix's blog here

Font of choice for your name.  I used Rude Cookie Brush.

Plug in: None

I am using a drop shadow (D/S) of V/H 2, Opacity 50, blur 5, color black throughout the tutorial unless otherwise stated.

Let's get started.

Open a new 650x650 transparent image.

Copy your main tube and paste as a new layer.  Resize 85% all layers not checked and D/S.

Open element 36, copy and close the original.  Select raster 1 and paste.  Resize 85%.  Using your magic wand, click inside the frame.  Selections, invert.  Select your tube layer and erase the bottom portion the is sticking out over the frame.  Don't worry if you go inside the frame as you will not erase the portion that is in the selection :).

Selections, invert, Selections,  modify, expand by 5.

Open paper of choice.  I am using paper 9, copy and close the original.  Select raster 1 and paste.  Selections, invert and standing on your paper layer, hit delete on the keyboard.  Select none and D/S the frame.

Open element 1, copy and close the original.  Select the top layer and paste.  Resize 70% and move to the bottom center.  D/S

Open element 15, copy and close the original.  Select the frame layer and paste.  Resize 60% and move to the bottom left so the bottom of the dress lines up with the bottom of the M.  D/S

Open element 8, copy and close the original.  Select the tube layer and paste.  Resize 30% and move to the bottom right so the lens lines up with the Y in photography.  D/S

Open element 30, copy and close the original.  Select the frame layer and paste.  Move to the top center and D/S.

Open element 28, copy and close the original.  Select the tube layer and paste.  Resize 60% and move to the bottom right.  The camera should look like it is sitting on the edge of the leaf.  D/S, duplicate and mirror.

Open element 14, copy and close the original.  Select the top leaf layer and paste.  Resize 40% and move to the bottom left so the bottom of the legs are behind the M.  D/S

Open element 3, copy and close the original.  Select the top layer and paste.  Resize 30% and move to the bottom left so it slightly overlaps the M.  D/S

Open element 27, copy and close the original.  Select the frame layer and paste.  Resize 60% and move to the left side so the top of the gem is under the flower cluster.  D/S

Open element 33, copy and close the original.  Select the frame layer and paste.  Resize 50% and Image, free rotate to the left 20 degrees, all layers not checked, and move to the far right.  The tube and camera should be overlapping it.

Open element 34, copy and close the original.  Select the frame layer and paste.  Resize 40% and move to the left so it is in between the tube and dress.  Duplicate and resize 70%.  Move this one just to the right of the tube.  The top should be sticking out from the advisory sign.

Open element 10, copy and close the original.  Select the advisory sign and paste.  Resize 40% and move to the far right.  D/S
